PUPPIES!!!
They're here! Finally! We waited and waited. Check on Cabela throughout the night Wed, Thur, and Friday night. On Friday night, actually Saturday morning Tony got up and check on her at 3:00am and she was just sleeping in her whelping box. At 7:00am he went out again and sure enough he heard the puppies crying! We ran out there to find 4 little black labs born. She did it all by herself. We had the vet do an xray during the end of her pregnancy and they told us that there were 3 maybe 4 pups, so we thought that she was done. I was sitting enjoying her little crew with Kade while Tony got dressed and she started to pant heavily. It wasn't but a minute and she was tensing up her abdomen and I could tell she was pushing! PUSHING! I yelled for Kayla to get Tony and by the time he came out to the garage she had another little black pup. We had 2 black males and 3 black females. Within about another 40 minutes she did this again and we got 2 little yellow females. It was so fun. I think that she was more than happy to see us and let me do everything for the last 3 pups, I broke the membranes, dried and stimulated them. It was awesome to hear those first little cries! Tony actually got to catch the last one and it was a little slower to start. After he broke the membrane and started to stimulate it I took over and got the fluid out of it and finally it started crying. That was the freaking most awesome thing I've done. Saturday night I got up every two hours and kept a chart to see who was eating and make sure everyone was fine. Cabela is doing great at being a mommy. I swear those babies are just constantly eating. Here are some of the pictures that we've taken so far. There will be more as we "grow" along. For now, everyone seems to be doing fine!

I'm so glad they are here safe and sound. I might actually know someone who might want one. How old do they have to be before you can sell them? How much are you charging for them? They are so cute.
