General Conference

This weekend was General Conference for our church. We had the opportunity to spend it close to home this time (just in case puppies decided to come). There were some great talks and it's always inspiring to hear from our leaders, especially our Prophet. Anyhow, the kids must be getting older because they were so easy to reign in during each session. They sat somewhat reverently and kept themselves busy listening. They listened especially close during the Sunday morning session because for each time they heard certain words they got a piece of candy. Needless to say it was great at keeping their attention but they had lots of sugar induced energy to burn off later. Here are the pictures of them keeping busy. Don't mind the look on Kade's face. He apparently thought it would be funny to smile with popcorn in his mouth. Not really that funny. Kayla made tickle your toes flip flops that she found instructions for on the internet. She also took notes so that she can be in charge of the lesson for FHE this week.
