On the way home from linner Tony spotted deer just south of Camp Williams grazing in a field. We drove down the little road to find about 60 deer grazing and sitting in the field. Tony said that there were about 12 bucks in the group.
Last evening we watched The Grinch that Stole Christmas (the Jim Carey version) and ate popcorn and then we were off to look at Christmas lights. The kids and I tracked Santa on the internet thanks to the military and then we were able to get on Santa's website and see if the kids were on the naughty or nice list. They were both on the nice list, THANK GOODNESS! They did make promises to Santa to do a couple of things better and when we arrived home from looking at lights.........the elves had come! The kids both recieved a new pair of pj's from the elves to wear.
After that the kids were quick to get ready for bed just in case Santa came by, so they prepared the milk and cookies, carrots for the reindeer of course, and wrote a quick note to Santa and then off to Kade's room where they fell asleep watching Elf together. They were super cute together yesterday and very full of kind words for each other instead of the usual bickering.

What a fun night! i love that the elves came to drop off the PJ's. I might have to ask them to do that next year for my kids.
