Happy 90th Birthday Grandma Helen!!

Tonight was Grandma Helen's 90th birthday party. I heard that she just wanted to do something simple like go out to dinner. Well, instead she got a reception room full of her family! They had the meal provided, and someone must have been thinking because it was pretty kid friendly and it was Luke safe. (my brother-in-law Luke has all kinds of crazy allergies) The kids are always excited to see their cousins and Tony and I both got to do some visiting. Sometimes it seems like forever since we've seen some of them. Tony's brother David flew in from California as well as his Uncle Gary. It was great to have David around even if it was just for a bit. I know that it meant a lot to Grandma. What an impressive milestone. She is a woman that has touched so many lives and continues to do so. At one point my father-in-law and his sisters and brother shared some memories that they have of their mom and then they opened the floor to the room to do the same. Of course Tony pointed out that Grandma Helen has always declared that he was the cutest baby! I've posted just random pictures from the party. Thanks to Van, Aunt Sherie, Aunt Charlotte, and Uncle Gary for their time and effort into putting this together. It gave everyone the opportunity to enjoy Grandma's company and remenisce about what a special lady she is.

Little Jolie who is having a birthday this month too!

This is what you get when you let Kade take pictures. I think that with that mouth I can find David's tonsills.

Van, deep in thought I guess. (i.e. the hand on the hip)
