Halloween

I've decided that Halloween really is a pretty worthless holiday. However, the kids would beg to differ so....we did it. We did it all today. Kade had a costume parade at school. I was in charge of Kayla's class party we played games and made slime. Then it seems like we were barely home from school when it was time to scarf down some dinner and hit the sidewalks. The kids and I went trick-or-treating meeting various friends along the way and finished in time for the ward trunk-or-treat. All in all it was a good day. Just busy. Here are the pictures that I took today...
This is the kids before school. Kade wouldn't wear his costume for this year. He insisted on being his black ninja from last year. Sometimes I just can't argue with him. It's just not worth it.

This is the kids before trick-or-treating. Tony came home and threw the smack down and insisted that Kade wear his costume for this year so we went out trick-or-treating with the Green Power Ranger and a Delta Rabbits cheerleader. And yes, I did have someone stop me and ask if that was really a Delta uniform and want to know how we got it. (Thanks Mel! P.S. Mel, Tony says soon you will be able to wear Kayla's hand-me-downs instead of Danica's) I told him who my husband is but he was apparently Jeremy's age and new just who Jer was. You can't go anywhere without meeting someone from Delta.

We walked a fair amount of the neighborhood with our neighbors the Wardles. Kayla always likes to help with the twins (who I didn't get a picture of).

This is Mitchell Wardle. I was going to take Kade's picture but Mitch started karate chopping my camera. That is what ninja's do I guess.

This is how Tony spent most of his night. Well, when he wasn't handing out candy. Nothing like a power nap between answering the door. Except that when we came to the door he locked it, shut the blinds and turned off the lights.

This is the ultimate pumpkin. I wish that we had been the ones to carve it. However, it was our true BLUE neighbors the West's that did. (We knew that Ryan would love this!)

Although you guys are still very confused on who the right team is to cheer for, I noticed the RED candle inside..."Lighting the Way". Thanks for thinking of me. -Ryan
