Lol. This girl cracks me up. I know it isn't funny to her but it is cute to me. I have to think of it that way or else I would probably freak and fight with her all the time. Which as many of you know, doesn't work well with an 11 year old. I've been trying to talk Kayla into going and finding someone to hang with. She's being a total home body. I don't know why. Which is fine, I just hate for her to be bored. Anyhow, I told her to go outside and do something. To which she responded, "I know but I'm freezing!" I said, "Put a sweatshirt on." Kayla, "I will still be freezing!" Me, "Put a coat on then." Kayla, "It still won't help, I'm always freezing and you never do anything about it!" Me, "K, then put on a coat and a sweatshirt, that should help." Kayla,"NO IT WON'T" Me, "Well, darling, what would you like me to do about it then?" Kayla, "I don't know but you never care if I'm cold."
Geez, I didn't realize that the closer she got to 12 the worse of a parent I became. I'm gonna try to keep smiling through this. She is beautiful and smart and will someday see me the same way, right? I mean, I think my mom is the most beautiful, fantastic person I've ever met. She's amazing and I never remember her being mean or not "caring" about me. Kayla will see that one day too right? Come on people! Right? Wow. Kids are hard. :)
