This is how Kayla starts a conversation we had tonight. At first I was thinking, "crap." But as the story continued I learned that during lunch there was about 12 in. of table to the left of Kayla and a group of "popular" girls came over and wanted her to scoot down. Apparently there were other tables completely empty and yet they wanted her to squish in. So, she told them no and they were very angry with her. All of this caused me a little concern because I was thinking, "why wasn't she just nice and let them sit down?" Kayla continued to explain to me that this is a group of gals is really mean to her and several other girls and that they aren't just friends with everyone. She wanted to know why they have to be in such a group. Why couldn't they be friends with everyone? I don't know these answers. I wish I did. I know I often think the same things each day. I just hope that she continues to stand up for herself. That she is able to have the confidence to do so because she knows that she is a daughter of her Heavenly Father who loves her and that her parents do too. She is such a beautiful and kind young girl. I just love that kid!
I am leaving our posterity a little insight into the world and insainity we love and call FAMILY

"I made these girls soooo mad at lunch, it was awesome."
