A couple in the neighborhood across from ours is out on the 23rd and 24th each year and you can take your kids to sit on Santa's lap for free. After they were done telling Santa everything they wanted they got to go pick out a stuffed animal. I don't know this couple but I am so grateful for their kindness it really made a great impression on our holiday. Just loved it!
Picking out a stuffed animal was really hard to do. The porch was full of tons of them every shape and size.
