Rock Springs Wyoming

I last saw my husband Thursday morning around 6 am. Tony is currently being reminded that he is really glad he doesn't do manual labor for a living. He left yesterday around noon with a group of guys from work to travel to the Rock Springs Codale. They are getting a new building and all of the inventory has to be moved and set up. Sounds like 5 or so from the Orem store went (including my Tony) and about 15 from the Salt Lake store. I spoke to him tonight briefly and I think that he sounded as tired as I feel. We are so lucky to have him. He works so hard to care for the children and myself. Always looking for the opportunity to work extra. I was telling the story today of when and how Tony and I met and it's just so fun to still get butterflies when I talk about him, just like I did back then. I was also posed the question today (about when I first came to Utah), "what did your parents think?" Hmm, I'm not sure I want to know. Maybe I will ask them someday. All I know is that my mom once told me that dad said if they didn't help me come out here that I would still come and I would just do it myself.

Well, while Tony slaves away at work the kids and I put up the Christmas tree and decorations and then went to the Ward Christmas Party. It was pretty good this year and fairly well attended. Tomorrow is a big day, mostly for the kids, it's Kayla's big Christmas program for dance and she is starting to get nervous. My motherly advice, "you'll be fine, get over it." No sympathy here. She is such a talented girl and is usually one of the better ones in her classes. She'll be fine. Anyhow, I'm going to enjoy my Christmas lights and talk to my T-bone and head to bed.
