Wrestling

Kade has started wrestling for the year and went to his first tournement last Saturday. I wasn't able to go as it was my weekend to work all weekend but Kade did great. He wrestled 44 lbs (That's up from 38 lbs last year!!!) and brought home a medal. (They probably medalled each kid but I was still impressed, like a mother should be.) He won two of his three matches. Tony is the ultimate dad/coach of course and even Kayla was able to get in on the action by helping to time.

As a side note, a word of accomplishment for me, I actually stayed out of bed today. Not only did I stay out of bed but I cleaned up after all of my animals, I did some more laundry and more importantly put it all away. Cleaned the kitchen and the bathrooms, did the dishes and mopped the floor. I seem to have conquered my depression for today. That is no small feat in itself. It's no secret that I am crazy and I have been especially so lately. Somewhat stranded in my bed with the blinds drawn and in my pj's all day. But today, for at least today, I am up, cleaned and feeling good. I am going to try to put the huge financial burden that comes along with the holidays and fixing the van and registering all 3 vehicles, in the back of my mind and just enjoy My Birthday, Thanksgiving and most of all Christmas! I love the holidays. Love em!!!!
