Busy Weekend

It feels like it was a busy weekend although I'm not sure I did anything but sleep. I worked on Thursday night and while I was trying to fall asleep on Friday the school called to come get Kade he was sick. Luckily for his teacher he totally hit the trash can. If only he could aim with other body parts as well. I would do a lot less cleaning. Anyhow, so, no sleep for me on Friday. Those of you that don't work nights might not know, but new moms will have an idea that getting sleep that is interrupted every hour or so is so much worse than not sleeping at all. There was no way I could go back to work after the day I had so I called in sick. Friday night Tony and Kayla went to Tony's sister Melanies for a BBQ and Kade and I tried to catch up on rest. That's pretty much how Saturday went for me as well. Tony did stuff, I think. By Sunday I was rested and Kade was better and Kayla was super anxious to work on her school project. Instead of a book report they are doing a "How to" presentation and Kayla's choice was "How to Bake Cookies" Here are the pictures that we took for her project. She did a good job. Made the cookies a little big again, which her dad was quick to point out, but they tasted great. Good Job Kayla!!
