Oops, time flies!

Wow, time really gets away from you when you aren't watching. I didn't realize it had been quite so long since I posted. Well, in the mean time the kids did a great job at their final performance for Kayla's dancing and Kade's tumbling. We were so excited that Grandma Margie and Grandma June were able to come.

On July 2nd it was back on an airplane for us. Out to Grandma Barb's This is Grandma Barb's House (also where I grew up). You can't see it in this picture but there is also a For Sale sign in the yard. That will be a good day for mom and dad to not have all the work that comes with a house and land this size. A trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa is never complete without a couple games of "Play Nine"

Then on the 4th Grandpa, myself, Kayla and Aunt Alisha ran/walked the 5k in Vandalia (Ohio) Grandpa took 2nd in his age group and probably could have taken 1st had he not had pitty on us girls in the beginning and ran the race backwards at times to check on us. Kayla took 3rd in her age group and is developing a desire to continue to run. It was pouring rain on us girls by the time we can across the finish line but we had so much fun and were so grateful not to be hot!

On the 4th in the evening it was off to Fulton's for the annual 4th of July picnic and fireworks!
