Ah, schools out! Right now I am saying, "YEAH." We'll see if my tune changes as the summer rolls along. What Summer means to me right now is that after I work I can come home and go straight to bed without having to drive carpool or wake up after kindergarten gets out. We spent a couple of nights in Delta this weekend. Tony's brother Van's daughter Macey got baptised. What a special day. It was also her oldest brother Beau's birthday. We were so happy to be part of that day with her. We came home yesterday so that we could get back for church. We don't have church until 1:00pm so we were able to stay Saturday night and then pull everyone out of bed in the morning and come home.
Today we are starting the summer in style. Kayla is up (but what else is new? she is always up 1st), and with my new, eat less and try not to be so fat diet, my tummy was rumbling this morning so I am up for a bowl of cereal, but Kade is still asleep. He slept downstairs last night because he likes to do that on the weekends and he said that since they don't have school now everyday is the weekend. I did inform him he has to sleep in his room sometimes, but I let him go downstairs last night. I guess this is going to be our day. There is some house work to be done as usual but then I imagine the kids will be off to play this afternoon. I am hoping to get my work done and have time to continue to rest. Everyone needs a daily nap, if you ask me!
